The Art of the Banter Workshop & Author Signing
Composition Shop, 356 Main St, Longmont, CO 80501

There’s something deeply satisfying about a witty, fast-fire exchange in fiction. The rhythm of these moments can build chemistry and familiarity between characters and give us even more of a reason to root for them.

So, what actually makes for lively conversations that pop off the page? In this workshop, we'll look at a few examples from movies and books. Then, we’ll write a one-page conversation between two provided characters—and use a few helpful tools to sharpen it up in real-time.

Class will be help from 10:30-11:30. A short signing of The Second Chance Cinema will follow. Register here.
